C.A. SELF-REPRESENTATION - A LIMITED SCOPE VIRTUAL LAW FIRM
a
A large number of California residents lack the resources to hire a lawyer to handle
important legal problems.  The reason is simple: employing a lawyer to resolve a case
on your behalf routinely costs thousands of dollars up front and hundreds of dollars
per hour in billed time.  Such prices make it difficult, if not impossible, for all but
those with potentially lucrative cases - or the affluent - to retain a licensed and
competent attorney.
C.A. Self-Representation presents a different option.
C.A. Self-Representation offers affordable legal counsel by connecting you with a
licensed attorney is a virtual environment available to complete specific and limited
assignments as directed.  You use the lawyer as necessary and - more importantly -
request only those legal services your budget can absorb.  There are no fees for a
retainer or enormous projected costs to handle a case from start to finish.  Critically,
you are not confronted with a choice of all or nothing when it comes to acquiring
legal help.  Instead,
you use what you can afford.

Additionally, unlike various on-line services that allow persons to submit legal
questions to some unknown "experts" (always with the disclaimer that
no legal
advice is being provided), or automated document preparation websites,
C.A.
Self-Representation
offers personal access to a lawyer.  You sign a contract for legal
services and receive the individual attention your situation requires.

What about the quality of the service?  You receive the advice of an experienced
attorney licensed to practice in California state courts, licensed to practice in federal
courts, and monitored by the California State Bar.
Why cost-effective? The costs are kept low because C.A. Self-Representation does
not provide a lawyer to assume responsibility for your case, formally represent you in
court or otherwise appear on your behalf.  Instead,
C.A. Self-Representation
specializes in providing legal advice behind the scene on a project by project basis;
you assign the work to be done on your case and do the rest yourself.

How are legal services received? First, the client must sign a written agreement to
retain the services of a licensed attorney.  Thereafter, the client works with the lawyer
through email, telephone, video conferencing, internet communication (i.e. Skype) and
fax.
